Lisson Gallery: Sean Scully and Daniel Buren
Sean Scully, one of the most important painters of his generation, is well known for his large-scale abstract paintings comprised of tessellating blocks and geometrical forms vertically and horizontally.
Daniel Buren started a radical form of Conceptual Art in the 60s when he began using his 8.7 cm-wide vertical stripes as the starting point for research into what painting is and how it intervenes the environment in situ. We invite you to explore the ideology behind the "Spectrum" in their works in MAM Select.

MAM ART DIARY EP02 | Rafał Zajko, Public Gallery
MAM ART DIARY | EP.02 From today until May 22, Public Gallery in London presents Amber Waves (Bursztynowe Fale), an exhibition of new works by Polish artist Rafał Zajko. Through this series of experimental sculptures, installations and works on archival paper, Zajko explores the relationship between human life and our cultivation of grain, drawing the audience to consider the detrimental ecological consequences of factory farming.
MAM x Art Basel: Central and Eastern European Art
